5 Ways to Wear Old Clothes in New Ways

5 ways to wear old clothes in new ways

Style is not the number of things in your wardrobe, but how you can combine them with each other. Sometimes the smallest change in the outfit will help create a completely new image.

1. Put on the belt

Put on the BeltThe easiest and fastest way to change the silhouette is to wear a belt or belt. Try adding this accessory to things that you normally did not wear it with: a cardigan, a coat, or a jacket.
Feel free to replace the belts that came with the raincoat or dress with new ones. Different belts will make the outfit sound different.

Play with the difference of textures: put on an elegant chain-belt to jeans, and a wide casual belt to the dress to add a zest to the image.

2. Replace black pants with jeans.

We all wear black pants to work, but often they make the outfit dull. To add dynamism to your look, try replacing them with jeans.

The contrast of an elegant blouse or blazer with jeans will make the outfit modern. If you are not mentally prepared for this, choose jeans of classic cut and dark color.

3. Mix styles

The main focus of the fashionable image is to skillfully combine casual and elegant, extravagant and classic.

Mix Style

For example, put on a string of pearls in jeans and a sweater, a short jeans jacket - to a satin pencil skirt. As a result, you will get a more collected every day or less formal smart look.

4. Choose layering

You may be accustomed to putting on several layers of clothing during the cold season, but layering is also relevant in summer. The combination of a single layer top and bottom can be boring and predictable. Instead of a blouse and skirt, try to wear a blouse with a sleeveless dress or a light dress with a denim or leather vest.

A little trick in creating a multi-layered image: layers should be color and texture contrast, otherwise you risk looking like you pulled a few things on yourself because of the cold. At least one of the layers should be light.

5. Change shoes

Amazingly, women very often divide their shoes into groups: shoes for dresses, boots for jeans and so on. Try to forget about the usual combinations. Try to wear shoes to a romantic dress, elegant ballet flats - instead of sandals with heels. Experiment with shoes to see which models bring unusual contrast to classic looks.
